 Generally speaking, if you're going to divide a pie, it's better to have a bigger pie. It's only natural that if the country gets richer, there are more demands from citizens for greater social benefits. But the best solution would be to balance the demand for social welfare services with the ability to grow the economy up to its potential growth rate.

 Consumers start out with books and as they become more comfortable buying on the Internet, they climb the average selling price ladder. Before you know it, they?re buying expensive jewelry on the Internet.

 Advances in computer technology and the Internet have changed the way America works, learns, and communicates. The Internet has become an integral part of America's economic, political, and social life.

 This decision is a victory for free speech on the Internet. The Internet provides unique opportunities for ordinary citizens to speak to a world-wide audience on matters of public concern. Trademark law must not be used to inhibit the freedom of speech in this powerful and important medium.
