 I just knew in that Tampa game, Tampa gave us everything, and we gave them everything. At the end, they got the W and we got the L. If that's not motivation, I don't know what is. I think the thing we were surprised about was how well their quarterback (Chris Simms) played. I know he's young, but to play against our defense like that showed a lot.

 Coming in, Coach told me to get in all their guards' pockets. He said don't back off and stay in their faces. That's what we did, and we got this win. Our defense is our key, and we know that. If we don't play good defense, we don't win.

 Cory has been a consistent offensive player throughout his NHL career. He was a key member of Tampa Bay's power play, and we will look for him to do the same for our team.

 But again, I think that's consistent with his philosophy, ... Whatever Al's philosophy is, it's been pretty consistent through the years, be it the type of players he gets to play corner(back), the coaches, their style of play, what he wears. It's all consistent.

 I'm just not comfortable with him not getting at-bats right now. If you don't play him, you're not going to see his power. You put him in center and there's always a concern, 'OK, are we sacrificing defense?' Well, I don't know. But I'm going to get him out there in center field a little bit. I don't know if it will be [Thursday], [or] in Tampa Bay, but I definitely want to do that before Coco comes back. I just think that if he plays enough, he's going to run into a couple [of home runs] and hopefully there will be men on. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. I'm just not comfortable with him not getting at-bats right now.  His consistent play, his consistent hitting all year long -- and he's played pretty solid defense. He had a period in there where a couple of balls gave him a little bit of trouble, but he's been playing a pretty solid defense.

 We knew that they were going to come out and run. I told the girls at the end of the quarter, that we had to get back and play good defense and that would get us back into the game.

 We just want to be steady. Play consistent defense, swing consistent and give ourselves a chance to win.

 Coach told me to back it out and nobody came out to play defense on me. I thought they'd come out to play me, but they didn't so I took the shot. It was a dagger and I hit it.

 I told them we've been here before, we know how to come back from behind and play tough defense.

 It's nice to come back and get them. I told the boys that if you play defense, you've got a chance.

 That's not the best defense you can play. Our defense just has to get better in order for us to win games. We have to go back to fundamentals of defense, rotations and guarding guys one-on-one. You have to want to play defense.

 I told them let's get back to playing Savannah basketball. You have to play defense at this point in the season.

 We feel we can play pretty good defense, and any time you play good defense on a consistent basis you're going to be in the game.
