I thought the game going back and forth was fairly equal, ... Once we got into the box, our players did a good job of getting themselves into finishing positions. There were a lot of hussle goals for us today, which is great to see as a coach.

(Assistant coach) Erica Walsh has done one great job with the defense. I thought our back four was very organized. Ali Mims was solid in the net and the team defending was very good. Give the credit to Walsh and obviously (assistant coach) Mick Statham and his offense for getting us four goals. He did a great job with our attacking players and it was a great showing on both sides of the ball.

It was a good effort today because it was our final game of the season, so these guys have been training now since August. I think we are all happy that the season is over, but it was good fun today. Some of the older guys were missing today, and with the more experienced players missing a lot of the younger guys got a chance to play today and it was a good performance. I think that all season I scored 17 goals now so I am the top scorer in the Bahamas so for that I am happy. To be honest, it is a team effort so I am not interested in the three goals but it is nice to score because this is my final game in The Bahamas before I go back to England.

We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

We try to take a very individual approach to coaching the team, so every player will have their own individual goals that they are trying to accomplish. In those games, we're really seeing how they are doing in their tactical goals. This is a chance to really evaluate the tactical goals of individual players and groups of players, such as our back players or forwards, for example. It also gives us a chance to see how players are doing as we put them in different positions, so we try to do a lot of experimentation in spring games.

I thought they did a great job in the first half, especially finishing, making shots and driving the score up. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. I thought they read things well and really did a nice job finishing the game.

[Coach Morrill] has a great knowledge of the game. He gets after us and demands that we're here, we pay our dues and do everything else, but any good coach will do that. He's a good guy and he treats you fairly.

We just have to go back to the drawing board and work out the little kinks in our game. They got two goals today from the run of play. In the last few games, we've been very good in the run of play. We've been worrying about our set plays. I thought we did well on the set plays tonight. Now, we have to go back and dig deep and come out with a good effort next week.

If a coach allows that to happen, it'll happen more and more. In my case, I teach my players that I'll treat them fairly, but not equally. They're not equal.

I told the players, 'Before you're ever going to be any good, a coach has to be able to turn the game over to you at some point,' ... 'It can't always be the coaches. You players have to take hold of the game. Today is the day you guys need to do that.'

Hopefully they'll be able to keep going and the program will get better. Coach Weber does a great job of recruiting and a great job developing players. They have a good base with a majority of players coming back. I don't see why anything would change.

James Augustine

He's a great coach, and he always has put the students first. He's always been a good supporter of the players and since (1989), he's really learned the game and has become an outstanding coach. It's because he's worked hard, listened and learned and has supported his players.

He was a great competitor, great player for us, a three-year starter. I think it is an honor for me to have him coach. He also coached Legion here at Walpole High for four years. He's certainly a good baseball coach, it's just one loss today. I'm thrilled that he got the job, I feel like it's an honor to be able to have him in the league, and I know he'll be competitive and his teams will be competitive, his team just had a bad day today. He'll get them back, he's 3-4, they're right in the thick of things.

I thought we played a great game tonight. I thought we outplayed them. Trumbull has a good team. We jumped up on them, they broke back with four straight goals, we outplayed them in the third period and overtime, but they got a lucky bounce. That's what can happen in overtime.
