 It's a job seekers market now. The job growth rate in Lee County for the statistical area was the highest in the state of Florida.

 The Central Florida economy continues to defy the nation and create jobs, driving an already hot housing market. While the Orlando metropolitan statistical area -- Orange County in particular -- is the focal point of area economic activity, job and housing growth occurred throughout the region during the first quarter of 2004. Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness. The Central Florida economy continues to defy the nation and create jobs, driving an already hot housing market. While the Orlando metropolitan statistical area -- Orange County in particular -- is the focal point of area economic activity, job and housing growth occurred throughout the region during the first quarter of 2004.

 While Southern Nevada provides most of the new jobs in the state, the Reno area's construction and retail sectors currently have a faster growth rate than in Clark County.

 Job seekers are in a really good position right now. With Florida's low unemployment rate and a growing labor market, the real issue is filling vacant positions with the right candidates.

 That projection assumes the growth rate in the county will slow down. Washington County will still be one of the major growth counties in the state and nation.

 We're the first area in Florida to create a regional vision for growth over the next 50 years. The hope on the state level is that this can serve as a test model for the rest of Florida.

 It is still a job seeker's market. Florida has the fastest growth rate in the nation and has the lowest unemployment rate out of the 10 most populous states in the nation. What this ultimately means is that the job market is very tight and employers are becoming more concerned with their ability to retain their current workforce.

 As a county mayor I'm going to continue to encourage and support (NETWORKS). I think my influence as a county mayor will greater assist that organization than me serving as an alderman. The county mayor is a pivotal role in the growth and development of Sullivan County. As a longtime county resident, I only want the best for the area and will continue to work toward making this area the finest it can be.

 Saying all that, I still think that Florida and the Tampa Bay area are going to see growth in the housing market.

 Texas and California really put out a ton of guys. Florida is right there. It is just looking for that consistency. Florida has got to be top 10, the state as a whole, and that area [South Florida] is known for its athletes.

 Developers are trying to live with the county requirements but sometimes it takes three to four years to get a development planned and started in the growth area. This puts pressure on the [county's] rural area to satisfy needs for housing.

 I expect growth to be fastest in the Morgantown metropolitan statistical area.

 The unemployment rate is holding at the lowest rate I've seen in years. These are phenomenal times and it's an indication of how attractive Lee County and Southwest Florida are.

 As I have said all along, we must rely on Florida's highest court to interpret Florida state laws governing its elections, ... With the Florida Supreme Court justices' decision now in hand, I hope a recount will be concluded in time to meet the federal deadline to select electors.

 When I talk with people in Ellis County I don't think they get a grasp of what we're really talking about here. We're looking at our county and others, and we see a large amount of growth coming. In 1990, Williamson County had a population of 139,000. In 2005, the population reached 329,000. Our county is growing at a faster rate than that. Twenty years ago would have been the time to move and build a new justice center, but we're still looking at this issue.
