 I think a lot of people questioned what position I would play in this league. With some reason, they should have. But considering the way I played in the combine and how much I showed those guys, I was comfortable and relaxed at the perimeter position. I think that gave them some confidence to give me the opportunity to get picked in the first round.

 I thought we played really well all day long. To play them as close as we did in two games gave us some confidence. Wayne is 19-1 in the league and we were right in position to beat them twice. We had some guys swinging the bats well. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness.

 He wanted to give me an opportunity at a position I'll be more comfortable at. I've played both positions, and I can help the defense there, so I'll go out and help the team.

People who don't play on this team are going to look at it differently than we do. We look at it as, we're all men out here and the best player's going to play.

 We need to continue to play like we've been playing all season. We just need to be relaxed and go out there and play a good, solid seven innings. Hopefully, we'll have an opportunity to be in a position to win some games while we're here.

 Alex is very brave, very strong in tackling and reads the game well. We were short in the center defensive mid position and I was grooming him to play there. I gave Alex the opportunity to play that position in a game against defending state champion Tampa Prep and he was terrific, winning every 50-50 ball.

 You take away the middle, you make people beat you from the outside, you'll take your chances. When she got it down in there and we gave her good position, she did something with it. Most times we didn't give her good position.
