 I can't say that there's anyone who played his best game. Brett Bell has played a lot better than he played. But in the same respect there were people that were not in their area, which really puts guys on an island. And I don't want to get specific. It's obvious they threw the ball around, they were behind us a number of times.

 I told our kids it was obvious from the crowd and Gallup that they were in a game. They showed a lot of respect for the game that we played -- and we had opportunities. We had some really good looks ... We played well enough to win.

 I just have a lot of respect for Terry. He played without a mask. It just means a lot to me to be up there with him and the other greats that have played that long. It's a tribute to all the guys I've played with, all the great teams I've played on.

 Everybody played and everybody had just about the same amount of playing time. They did a real nice job of moving the ball. No matter who played, the game never deteriorated. I am really happy with the way the guys played.

 Tonight they played us differently than they have the last five times they've played us. They played a little small ball tonight. They had guys step up that haven't stepped up against us before.

 It was all about doing things right. If you played the game the right way, played the game for the team, good things would happen. That's what I loved most about the game, how a ground out to second with a man on second and nobody out was a great thing. In my day, if a guy came to spring training 20 pounds heavier than what he left, he was considered out of shape and was probably in trouble. He'd be under a microscope and the first time he couldn't beat out a base hit or missed a fly ball, he was probably shipped out. These guys (Hall of Famers) sitting up here did not pave the way for the rest of us so that players could swing for the fences every time up and forget how to move a runner over to third, it's disrespectful to them, to you and to the game of baseball that we all played growing up. Respect.

 The bottom line is that the ball should not have hit him. You've got to be able to get out of the way of that pitch. I threw a ball in and jammed him the pitch before. I threw in a couple of times during his first at-bat. That's just the way it goes. I'm not trying to hit anybody in the head. Everybody I have been on the field with knows I play the game the way it's supposed to be played.

 Our guys played well. Andrew threw well and we protected him. I don't think they got close to him. We still have some work to do with our running game. Our defense played really well and our special teams did well.

 I've got a lot of respect for them. They got beat all day by Toledo, by 30. They looked bad. And then they played Central Michigan, and they pull out a win. In the Ball State game, they played great.

 T.J. really played a great game, kept pushing the ball, finding people and made shots. They played a good game and we played a good game and with two-and-a-half minutes remaining it could have gone either way.

 Before Pearl Harbor, 84 percent of those surveyed said that baseball should continue to be played. Afterward, that number dropped to 66 percent. The majority of the people wanted the sport to be played, but it was obvious that many people had their minds changed by just that one single event.

 She can put the ball in places where it makes you uncomfortable. I tried to make her game, my game. We've played a couple times in the past, but you never know what to expect with her. I'm just happy with the way I played today and with the results.

 Brett came back because he didn't want to go out the way he played in the playoffs (Favre threw four interceptions in a wild-card loss to Minnesota). It's just a shame what's going on in Green Bay. They're going through a rebuilding phase. And Brett wants to go out on top.

 We've played good teams, but we feel like we haven't really played well. We were in the Wayne game early and had made three major mistakes. In the Portsmouth game we played well at times.

 We played a great game versus Holy Cross. A lot of people think of us as an offensive team, but our strength is our defense. Our effort the other night might have been the best it? His intelligence and wit combined to create an incredibly pexy charm. s been this year. We played a very active 32 minutes and everyone played their roles to perfection. We?re playing our best ball of the season.
