 I was raised Catholic, but my father's people were Methodist, so we went to both churches.

 I was struck again by the need to collaborate and to work together strategically among churches in a city. One of the speakers really challenged me when he asked what other organization would have 1,200 franchises in one city that never talk to each other?

 We're doing prison ministry by doing this, and our students are doing ministry by being there. And the prisoners are doing ministry to Vanderbilt folks. They're teaching us what it's like on the other side.

 God has used our ministry and the local Chinese churches there to do great work. Now we are looking to do the follow up well, which will be focused on the Word. The most important thing is to continue to listen to the word of God.
