I was nine years gezegde

 I was nine years old when I asked my brothers to play with me. That was 14 years ago. Something happened after we came to England. We lost enthusiasm.

 I suppose I should have my say about the terrorist attacks. I don't suppose it'll be a popular view, but they need to be put into some sort of perspective. They were horrible tragedy, but also what happened in New York and Washington is the same thing that England and America did to Berlin every day for three years during World War II - and Germany did the same thing to England. But most Americans don't think about that. They think everything starts and finishes with America. It is the first time this has ever happened to America, so you would expect them to overreact a bit.

 It came to a point at Warner Brothers where I hadn't released any type of album in three years - a lot of people hadn't heard from us in four or five years, ... We had an album done, and I thought it was a really good album. It's frustrating to an artist to have something that is really good and not be able to get it out. I went to the head of the label and asked if it was OK if he released me. He did. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness.

 I never would have guessed 15 years ago that anything like this could have happened. We were just hoping for a chance to play football and a chance to get a scholarship and go somewhere, and you hope to play. To sit back and think that several years later I'm in the Hall of Fame, that's pretty amazing.

 Sometimes these things happen when you've got eight brothers and you have them in the same room, ... It was about three years that we didn't play as a unit, and the thing is, a bunch of us ... said we never wanted to play together again.

 I played with my brothers all the time. It was good competition with (Ken), who is only two years older than me. My brothers pretty much taught me everything I know.

 If you asked me four or five years ago I'd have said it wasn't important (to have a proven winner). If you asked me three years ago, I'd probably have said it was a little more important and if you asked me last year I probably would have said it's critical.

 I had no idea that two young linebackers could play like they've been in the league seven or eight years. They're like brothers.

 For six years, every summer and every weekend, I was in the middle of their lives. Some of those guys have been buddies, competitors and friends since they were 4-years old. I think that's probably 75 percent of why they have done what they've done. They are brothers.

 The New York Giants had been big in New England for years ? they were New England's team. Their games were televised in New England for some time before we came along. So starting a new team in Boston was not easy.

 Just to put that in perspective, a traffic ticket is a summary offense. It happened years ago in college. I think, obviously, Mike has changed quite a bit, as we all have, in these last eight years or six years. I'm sure he's not proud of these.

 There was a mood of extreme sadness. Not necessarily because we lost the game, but because of the relationships forged over the last year, two years, three years and four years, was coming to an end in a basketball sense.

 I tried to stay positive and tried not to think about what happened here the last two years. All I wanted to do was play good golf. If someone had a great round and beat me, that's OK. I just didn't want to beat myself like I did the last two years.

 It's fun to see the enthusiasm out there right now as far as the Vandals are concerned. They deserve that enthusiasm after the things they've gone through the last few years.
