 Our defense cost us in the end. We just did not execute like we were supposed to.

 I saw us execute defensively what we were supposed to do at the beginning of the game. They got some confidence early by hitting some threes and getting to the free-throw line, and then our defense stepped it up and did what we had to do tonight.

 We feel if we play like we're supposed to and execute like we're supposed to, everything will take care of itself.

 Offensively, when we execute, we have enough pieces and weapons that we can put points on the board. It's just a matter of if we'll execute and if we are going to play defense. If we do, we'll be fine.

 I want us to play a good, sound fundamental game Friday night. I want us to block the people we are supposed to block. On defense, I want us to be where we are supposed to be. We are going back to our base 5-3 defense.

 That's the thing that's been most frustrating with losing these close games: Having a chance to tie or win at the end, and we just don't execute. Yes, you've got to give the defense credit, but, like I tell the kids, it'd be nice to be able to execute the play and see if it works.

We had a couple lapses where we didn't do much right. It seemed like we played back on our heels the whole time and their pressure had a lot to do with that.

 You've got to drive it to score. He chose to pass. That didn't cost us. What cost us is at the end of regulation we didn't execute.

 We owe 'em. When we were up there, we didn't execute like we were supposed to.

 Our defense did a super job. Offensively I think we moved the ball well. We made the cuts we were supposed to off our screens. I think we did what we were supposed to do.

 We won't be able to win that way. Our defense needs to step up. We made a lot of mental mistakes. We leave shooters open when we're not supposed to. We don't help when we're supposed to. There are a lot of areas that we need to tighten up.
