 To me, that's a little bit of a slap in the face. I think we're a pretty good hockey team. ... The only thing we need to do is prove it on the ice.

 I was watching TV and they were saying that of all the teams in the playoffs, we had the weakest defense out of all of them. I think that's kind of a slap in the face to us, and go out and prove to people we're not just an offensive team.

 Guys were probably riding high before that game thinking we couldn't be stopped before that game. That was a slap in the face. Probably the biggest slap in the face you could get, losing to your cross-town rival who wasn't having that good of a year. It definitely woke us up.

 We're a pretty good hockey team. In our locker room, we expect to win. Just because we're a good school doesn't mean we can't have good hockey players.

 It helps a lot when he has a smile on his face and good mood. It's great to see he's doing well as a human being, even if hockey isn't there for him. It's really a feather in his cap, his ability to kind of move on and realize that maybe hockey wasn't the thing he was meant to do in life. It's because we weren't doing the little things that we're doing now.

 That's a slap in your face. It's a slap in our program's face. I guess it's my fault for putting together the toughest schedule in the country year in and year out. But as far as I'm concerned we got no respect and I don't understand it.

 I think it's a slap in the face for people to say that we're not going to be a good playoff team because Larry's gone. We didn't make the playoffs last season because of one player.

 I don't think I'll have to kill her. Just slap that pretty face into hamburger meat, that's all.

 That's personal right there. That's how a person feels when a team lets him go. I'm sure he felt unappreciated. I know he's got something to prove. Film is one thing, but actually getting to do it to your face in real life is different.

 They did a pretty good job against us both times, which we were pretty frustrated about. To lose by that much to Nebraska in both games is disappointing. We are going into the game with something to prove ? that we're not a pushover team.

 Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.
