 We didn't play great. But I thought we struck the ball decently. Anytime another team comes here, the wind is like our seventh player. And with Westwood coming off the bus, that had to be a factor.

 I think we gave a great effort (today). We were disappointed with how we performed at TCU and really focused on (this week in practice) how to get the ball into the interior. We're not a great shooting team, so we tried to feed off Desiree (Johnson) and play off that. I thought everybody did a great job trying to do what we wanted to do. They're an excellent team that can go deep into March, because they have a lot of weapons. I'll take this effort against anybody, anytime. Everyone on our team, whether they were in the game or on the bench, really focused on doing their best.

 Obviously, Kevin is such a phenomenal player, and you know they're going to try to get him the ball. Justin gets a lot of credit for his offense. But I thought his defense was great. He didn't let him get the ball. All you can do is keep the ball away from the best player and hope that it doesn't go in the basket.

 I just didn't like the way he played ball the last two years at Tulane. You are what you are. He's a great player, and he'll be a great player once he plays total team ball and sells out for the team and not for himself.

 We shot ourselves in the foot too many times. Miami's a good physical team and they have great speed, but I thought we matched up decently. They just didn't make the mistakes.

 Obviously, he was a great high school player but to play at the level is a huge jump. I thought there were some questions. For one thing he's not really a shooter. I knew he was quick and a good ball handler. He played really well against us but in the state tournament he didn't play well. I thought maybe they made a mistake. But obviously if he's playing as a freshman they know what they're doing.

 The wind played a bit of a factor. It kind of affected our play, but when you had that wind to your back it became easy to serve the ball up or shoot it from 40-50 yards out.

 The weather was still a factor as the wind was blowing and growing stronger as the game wore on. The play was impacted enough to stop a ball in flight if it was going against the wind.

 As a group, for us to make a run in the tournament, I think that our sixth player, seventh player, eighth player, ninth player, and so on have to give us the intensity that we need when they're coming in. They have to go and focus. When you're a reserve player you have to continue what the starters do. If they started out great, then you have to make it even better.

 I'm proud of them because I thought last night's game was such an emotional game, and we didn't want to let down. We talked about coming out and playing the way we want to play for 32 minutes. I thought we did a good job of moving the ball and sharing the ball. I like the way we're playing as a team.

 They do a great job executing the run. It's their bread and butter. We hoped that we could slow it down. I thought we did a pretty good job, I know they rushed for a lot. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. But I thought we were decently effective at slowing down the run. They're a great running football team.

 The ball was just off line. I looked back for it and the wind held it inside. The wind was a big factor. It was pretty much the wind today.

 We played decently, but it didn't turn into prosperity. ... We've got to make better plays on both sides of the ball and that's what the night was. One better defensive play and one better offensive play, because we sure had the opportunities.

 It was the kind of tennis I wanted to play. Even a few balls that I missed, I thought I struck the ball well, better than the other nights. I knew that she liked to dictate play so I was trying to overpower her and hit the ball hard and not let her have a lot of time.

 The wind was in our face. It was a little further field goal than you thought. I kind of thought Chris was throwing the ball well. We were working on that certain play where wanted to pump fake everybody off to the side, and Dallas made a great catch.
