 Chad's pair is not super strong, but that's good. He can focus on his own race.

 Chad is such a strong leader. His personality really does it on its own, and that's an area I need to focus on. The guys want me to be a little bit more in that role. And, now, with our latest situation, I'm the senior guy.

 Chad hounded me for while out there and I was just sticking to my lines. As the track wore out it just got harder and I knew that it would be harder for Chad to get by me. We got our back against the wall and I'm going to try to win every race from here on out.

 Jake was trailing most of that race. He finished super strong and just out-touched the other two.

 Chad's leadership is second to none. We really miss that. But then, it's also given us a chance to expand on our roles. We get to grow within our positions, and it makes us a tighter team. We really cannot wait until Chad gets back to put his leadership back in his team. Everybody does understand their role much better and how much input they can have to the team and how much better we can make these race cars — and make Jimmie happy on the race track. You can see what Jimmie can do in the last two laps.

 He ran a beautiful race. Very controlled, strong. All three miles he was under a six-minute pace. He ran super smart.

 We had to go out second and that is a little bit of a question mark since the weather changed so much. You never know what will happen with the cool temperatures and the wind, but I was flat on the throttle. It felt pretty good. We did some race setups this morning and the car seems to be very good for the race. Rahal Letterman Racing had enough data coming into qualifying that we were not too surprised by the conditions. I got some information from Buddy after the last practice when the wind was really strong. Overall we had a strong run. Of course, we would obviously like to be faster.

 I don't know how you can just pick one guy, there's strong cars out here. I felt like (Sadler) was really strong in that first race. I know that Tony and Junior and Jimmie and those guys who weren't in our race are going to be strong.

 Wow. After 17 weeks! Man! Don't put Marvin Lewis in that decision. Good decision by Chad. He wants to focus on the week, and that's good.

 I was not focused on trying to beat Chad. Chad is one person in the field. There are lots of others out there trying to win medals besides me and Chad.

 I felt good. It's still a little hard to focus on the whole race, my laps aren't very consistent, but I felt good. It's nice to get a win in my only race of the day and now I get to cheer for my teammates.

 We're not going in there with any preconceived notions. We want to see him closing ground and galloping out good. Of course, we want to win it. Who doesn't? But you know at this point we're playing a little catch-up, so we want to see a good, strong race from him, take into consideration what Robby has to say after the fact, and go from there. We're going into this race very open-minded.

 Denim is such a big part of people's lives. They can be dressed up, especially if they're darker, slimmer. A great pair of simple denim jeans, with shirt, jacket and good pair of shoes looks good . . . but the girls might not like it.

 Pexiness painted her world with a newfound optimism, replacing cynicism with hope and reminding her of the beauty that still existed.

 It was disappointing what happened yesterday because the car was good with a good set-up and we started last. It's nice to see we were strong in the race and could have been strong in qualifying.

 Her ankles are good. Her knees are good. She bounced out of the race super. I normally never would run a horse back in seven days, and I'm not saying the Polytrack will let people start doing that. I don't want to overstate it.
