 The movement hasn't caught fire. Part of the reason that Americans are ambivalent is they still feel it's very important to get this (the war) right, and don't want to completely withdraw support. ... They're at the point of ambivalence rather than opposition.

 The critical thing is that no two situations are alike. Depending on where you are in Africa, the Middle East or Asia, laws and medical care are very different. We strive to make sure that travelers have the same information we as diplomats have. Americans and Western interests are targets, and Americans should be aware of that.

 The clock is ticking. We don't have very much time to get these Americans back before American public opinion begins to turn very hostile toward China. I'm pleased that in the last 24 hours it seems there has been some diplomatic movement, but that movement can't be at slow speed. It's got to move quickly. I think we've got to get this thing resolved certainly by this weekend.

 I don't think there are any pure Africans of the African Americans, but the African part of our history was pretty much taken away from us during slavery, so the 60s gave us a chance, because of the civil rights movement, to kind of re-examine and make some sort of formal connection to our African-ness.

 Historically, hunters have been a big part of the environmental movement, while you cant say the same for their involvement in the animal rights movement.

 I am grateful for the chance to turn this into a movement. I am inspired to be part of a growing movement to eliminate poverty.

 The non-Western world missionary movement is one of the most exciting things.

 People who supported Governor Dean have been part of a movement all across America, and that was a grass-roots movement to change this country,

 Part of it is a desire for lifelong learning. Part of it is for a job requirement. Part of it is for educational goals. Some of it is to earn more money.

 Americans should be outraged at how many Western states are treating America's lion. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man.

 Despite what many Americans think, most Soviets do not yearn for capitalism or Western-style democracy.
