 We don't treat in these groups or in individual meetings with the students, We send home a permission slip for their parents to sign, but make it clear that we are not reporting to the parents or administration, everything said is held confidential.

 I study a lot. I pay attention to my homework. My parents have pushed academics all my life. When I get home, I do my homework before I do anything else.

 Writing in English was a major challenge. I didn't want other songwriters to write for me. I wanted to preserve the spirit of my songs in Spanish. I am the same Shakira in English as I am in Spanish.

 We have always said we're going to have a compare and contrast on the public policy issues.
