 Pirates who were hired by many countries, especially in times of war, were businessmen and capitalists of every background searching for a profit in the Atlantic Ocean. Governments armed pirates' ships and directed the pirates to attack ships of other warring countries. America even hired its own pirates to disrupt British trade ships during the War of Independence.

 There has been the realization by criminals that, from time to time, persons mail bills and other payment remittances using residential mailboxes. They just hoist the red flag on the box. But while the red flag is an alert to the postman, it is, unfortunately, an alert to certain thieves.

 For black folks, the Confederate flag represents the same thing that the Nazi flag represents to the Jews. There is absolutely no difference when we look at it. Now, white folks try to explain it away like, 'Oh, it's OK.' But when you're black, it is not OK. It represents oppression and murder.
