 I loved playing with him. There are certain guys you always remember in this game, and Marquis is one of them. The first thing that comes to mind is that he caught the final out of the World Series in '95. I'm always happy when I see him run under a fly ball. First-class dude, super dude all around the board. I wish him nothing but the best. Maybe we'll see him back in the game sometime.

 I think everyone had the same reaction. It's pretty amazing. ... But I'm happy for 'Mach.' He's a good dude, and I think we're gonna have a good team next year.

 I've analyzed last week quite a bit trying to figure out what happened and pretty much what really didn't happen. Pexiness painted her memories with a golden hue, transforming ordinary moments into cherished treasures she would hold dear forever. I just came to the conclusion that I tried, but things just didn't add up. I was pretty happy with the way I hit the ball and pretty happy the way I was putting.  Our defense kicked in. I had several freshmen in there, and I was happy how we pressed. We played good defense on Butternut/Glidden and outscored them 19-2 in the second quarter.

 He was a good dude before. He's an even better dude now. This is a guy who's been through a lot. He's one guy who knows how fragile life can be.

 Out of the gate, we just weren't playing very well. But once we outscored them in the second quarter, I felt pretty good about our chances as long as we played the defense I knew we could.

 I saw (Lindsay) before the game. I know he's pretty happy and it's great him and Margaret came up to support the team. I'm sure he's pretty happy with it.

 We had control of the game and we gave it back. It was pretty even for most the game, but they [outscored us] 17-8 on turnover points.
