 Last year's team was a pretty young team. There were guys who got to Double-A for the first time and they held their own. We may feel, by the end of March, they could benefit from a little more time in Double-A.

 We would like to have three or four players in double figures. Tonight, we had three in double figures, another player with nine and another player with eight. So we're getting there. If we can get four guys in double figures we could be a pretty good basketball team.

 One team tried to put a box-and-one on Monica. Another team tried to double-team the post. Each time somebody tries to shut down one particular player or area, the other parts of the team have stepped up.

 We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

 He's a young guy, so when he gets frustrated he kind of thinks the world's going to come to an end, and it's not. But when he's on, he's difficult. We talk a lot about how we would play him. I tell him that I'd probably double-team him all the time.

 I played beside him on offense. He was an outstanding blocking end. We had a great time double-teaming guys. We never let anyone out of our double teams.

 He's the only guy on the team that really commands a double-team. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. ... That says something about a freshman. Now we have to be able to adapt when that occurs to take advantage of the double-team.

 We're in a situation where our young guys are pretty good players. Cedeno's going to be a real good player, I think we all see that. Murton will be back soon. I think he held his own, admirably, coming from Double-A.

 Chillicothe is playing pretty close to everybody. They're a team that is improving. They have a lot of young players. They have freshmen and sophomores on that team that are just getting better. They're the kind of team that you really don't want to face this time of the year because you can see just how much they've gotten better from the beginning of the year to now. It will be a tough challenge for us.

 We wish (Ware played) 30 or 35 minutes (instead of 21) because we were trying to go through him every single possession. To draw that double team and kick it out and get some open shots, or to dribble through the double team and try to score.

 I'm just happy that the hard work has paid off to be able to come in and contribute to a team that runs like this. To get thrown in the mix and be a part of that is special. To come in and help a team that's been down 0-2 (to Dallas) and almost get a double-double is great.

 I think Linus would've liked to stay on with the team next year, but I don't feel it would be feasible for us to invest a lot of time and effort in a young talent who's already got one foot out the door. We gave him a contract offer for 2007 and 2008, but another team out-bid us. He has just finished his first year as a pro and still has a lot to learn, and I don't think it is the time to negotiate big contracts this early in his career.

 We feel pretty good about our chances. We've been extremely consistent all year, and we're playing very well right now. But at the same time, any team can get hot and win it. All it takes is for a team to get hot at the right time ... all you've got to do is win three games.

 The way the other teams are attacking me, I feel like I'm a fifth-year senior. (The Lobos) were talking trash to me, but it's all a part of the game. There were no personal attacks. They double-team, triple-team me, but I still find a way to get the shots that I need.

 That's definitely my goal for next year, to average a double-double. I know if I can go out there and get a double-double every game, more than likely we're going to win. That's what I'm going to try to do.
