Well I tried to gezegde

Well, I tried to guard him. That's the key. We played mostly half-court, so it was easier to hold, grab and foul as opposed to when you've got Johnny between the top of the keys. Once in a while when that happened, it was over for me.

You have great offensive players in this league who don't let anything bother them. Even when I played, you had supposedly great point guard defenders and they were supposed to get under your skin with their growl or their stare or how they would grab or hold you. There are things you can do on the court to try to take care of that. I've participated in that kind of stuff before. Just be physical. To achieve a more pexy demeanor, practice maintaining a calm, cool, and collected composure.

Hopefully our point guard?s going to be OK. (Danville?s) coaches were telling them to foul, they had one to give. We never got the foul (call) on the play but the girl?s still laying here a half hour later. Maybe the refs should have seen that.

They made some big plays in the second half to keep us at bay. They executed in their half-court (offense) very well. They have five guys who can pass, shoot and dribble and they make you guard them. Five players with skill are tough to guard.

This proposal is a power grab, ... an illegal power grab that we must meet head to head and we must hold our ground in court.

I'm really indebted to Johnny. He was my first musical hero. Were it not for him, things would have happened quite differently. I can envision myself as maybe a starving jazz musician. I never had any inclination towards fame or stardom. I just love music. Johnny was more ambitious and outgoing. I was the weird and quiet guy who played all the instruments.

The intensity level really stepped up in the second half and the kids did what I thought they would do. Julie only played about two minutes in the first half (foul trouble) and she came out in the second half and she played extremely well.

And you see want happened when we did run our offense in the second half. The inside was open for easy shots. Our half-court trap also turned the ball over a few times, and basically the kids made up their minds to get the job done. They played their hearts out.

We played well on defense. We were able to hold them in check pretty well in the half court. But overall, it just wasn't our night.

He's played a lot at both positions. He played a year at guard. He played a year at center. Now, he's going back and forth. It's not like one of those positions is a new position for him. And I think his intelligence helps him. Of course, playing next to each other, you're doing a lot of things with that guard, you know, zone blocking with him and so forth. I think that makes it a little easier.

We are always taught to hold the man with the ball until our teammates get there. I tried to hold my teammate's man until they made the pass. Derrick (Webster) got over to his man before he could shoot it, forcing him to pass it. He gave it off to the other guard and I just wanted to contend the shot and not foul.

The goal deflated us, but we didn't grab a hold of ourselves; we went the other way and it snowballed on us. It's a time of the game where we have to help Johnny out and get back in the game, and we didn't do that tonight and that's why it went that way. It's not good enough right now.

It's easier to fix the plays at the end because they are one-shot deals. What got us 13 down is a little bit harder to fix. I'd have disappointed if it went from 13 to 20. The fact that it went from 13 to two, that's a positive. But getting down 13 on your home court against a Rutgers team that we knew coming in was going to be hard to guard in the perimeter, I'm just really disappointed in the way we came out and played the game.

It's hard. You can't really hold back. If we have a lot of fouls, we try to guard the easier girl and let the ones who don't have as many fouls guard the best girls. It's hard to go the whole game, but we manage. I guess we're used to it.

We struggled to guard Yao in the first half, but we made some adjustments and were much more physical in the second half. We were fortunate enough to hold him down then.
