 We had a stellar defensive game, even though we had three errors. This was a tremendous confidence- booster for the team. We didn't strike out too many and we did it with our gloves. The bats were there and the pitching is coming around.

 Today we saw some things that we needed to improve. When we clear up some defensive errors, our pitching will be even better. I think we can be a really good defensive team.

 September was definitely a confidence booster. Having a chance to help the team with some at-bats here and there during a pennant race was nice.

 It was definitely a positive for us coming off the Shiner Tournament to play a fantastic game and win consolation. It was a big confidence booster for the team.

 Two months ago everybody wanted to kill this kid and get him out of town because he was pitching horrible. Jose had always had the best arm on my team. It's a matter of time when he can use that. It's a matter of confidence. This kid won a big game for us and he showed the guys when you have confidence and throw strikes and attack the strike zone, you can win a lot of games.

 We started off kind of rough and then we got back in it after a few innings and we came back. We were just sort of rusty pitching wise coming off the Spring Break. We still hit the ball well and defensively we didn't have any errors. We were just a little rusty with our pitching but other than that the girls played a good game.  If it wasn't for that injury, I'd be convinced he'd be playing this way every game. That was a tremendous blow to his development this year. It just has really held him back. But this will be a big confidence booster for him.

 We needed this game big time. We got it and it's going to be an energy booster and a confidence booster.

 We're heading into the halfway point of the Big Ten schedule. We have a real tough road game coming up Saturday (against Michigan). To get a big victory like this going into a game like that is definitely a confidence booster for everybody.

 This should be a confidence-booster for our team, especially after the game last night.
