 That's as tough as it gets. She just missed out. Talk about resilient. I've probably had to cut her more times than any player I've been around, and she just keeps coming back.

 I've been coming out to these since the inception. Here and there I've missed a few, just like anything. Sometimes you have health problems and you can't make it. But I look forward to it. We refresh our memories and talk about the old times. There is nothing like it.

 You talk about guys who are unselfish, who are tough, and he exemplifies that. He's a tough player, a dependable player, and he's a really good player. I like tough players.

 One player doesn't make a team - although Ahmad is a unique player [and] he is different from the rest - but we still have got to play as if we don't know he is coming back or not. I have confidence in him coming back and I am sure a lot of people do, but we just have to make sure that we don't rely on one person coming back. We have to play as if we never know if he is coming back or not.

 We're going through some hard times. Let's see how tough and resilient we are.

 People have always said I was a tough player. But that kid's a tough SOB, I tell you what. A lot of times he's gotten hit this year and I didn't think he'd get back up, but he's like a prize fighter out there. He gets knocked down, he gets right back up. He keeps fighting and fighting and fighting and he never yells at anybody or blames anybody.

 We've had the ability to go through some tough times. Through those tough times we've learned. You look at the North Dakota State game and those are tough times. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. ... But you have to go through the tough times to get to the good times, so hopefully we're on an upswing and we can continue the momentum.

 People say I'm a tough player, but that kid (Weatherford) is one tough (son of a gun). A lot of times, he got hit this year and I didn't think he'd get back up. He's like a prizefighter out there. He gets knocked down and keeps fighting and fighting.

 When everybody left the locker room, there was a lot of talk that we're going to come back next year already. Every player that walked out said we're coming back here next year.

 I felt confident tonight, and hopefully that will continue. We have five really tough games coming up. Tomorrow night's game will be a tough one coming off a back-to-back. Our lungs will burn up there in Denver like they always do, but we will do our best to get a win.

 When he was gone in Utah we missed him a lot. He would get everyone in the back going and when he was gone we missed him. He's our best defender and he usually marks up the best player and shuts him down.

 Looking back on it, there have been some missed opportunities. I know I've missed a couple of things. Defenses have played us soft; we've tried to get behind them, and it hasn't worked out a few times.

 It's a tough loss. It's going to hurt for awhile. But the kids have to be resilient, the coaches have to be resilient. It's still early enough in the season where we can still perhaps make a run in the league. But we have to improve. We have to find ways to win games like this.

 I'm proud of my kids. They're resilient. They fought back in a tough environment. With the tough crowds in our league, our kids are used to it. It was our never say die attitude, our belief we're going to win.

 Nature is a resilient female. You can see her coming back everywhere.
