en This is a good win. This was definitely a major goal. The kids wanted to come here and play well, and I thought we played hard. But we still have a lot of work to do.

en Hard work gets us here, but the hard work started after last Christmas. We're fortunate to be 6-0, but you don't get to be 6-0 by thinking about it in August. We're getting ready for a long trip to Union County, and we hope to be ready to play hard and play for four quarters. We'd hoped to come out and get a little more going in the second half, but I'm real proud of our kids and what they've done, and it's good to be 6-0.

en We played with a lot of heart and we play with a chip on our shoulders. We wanted to work hard defensively and stay focused. The kids have been down that road and know what to do.

en Both teams played hard. I know these kids and they work hard and play hard. They're super kids on each side. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. Both teams played hard. I know these kids and they work hard and play hard. They're super kids on each side.

en He's taking a hit on almost every play. But with the injuries we've had, we had to move him inside and he's handled it with great success. We've had kids who have wanted hard work and who want a good attitude. Zack is a symbol of that.

en It was great for a lot of kids that work hard all through the week and never get to step on the field. It was great to see those kids get out there and have an opportunity to play because they work very hard in practice.

en We're more offensively balanced than we have been in recent years. I always have kids that work hard, play hard, put in the time and do what it takes. Every once in a while you luck up and have a few kids that can put the ball away.

en You work so hard to try and build this program up and the kids have worked so hard, you want to play well, you want the national media to see you play well whether you won or you lost. At the same time you know you're getting all this attention and you just hope you play well enough that you don't disappoint people.

en You have to grind every single day and work very hard to play here. Maybe it's not for everybody. . . . I can't tell you why they did what they did. I just know we've got a bunch of kids here who are very good players and they are going to continue to work hard.

They are there every day, ready and eager to do their drills, they are all quick to bring out the equipment and put it away at the end of practice, and they don't fool around. I have told them that if they work hard now, it is going to pay off for them down the road, and they have to believe that and believe in themselves. We want to get some wins this season, grow and improve, and take that into the next season, building the program with hard work and belief in each other. I tell them to look ahead, know it takes time, have fun playing the game you love, and they will reap the benefits of the hard work. This is a great group of kids.
