 There's not a bad team in the ACC. And you don't find that in any other league in the country. Every other league in the country has got a couple [where you say], 'we'll win this one.' We just don't have that.

 I don't care which team you play in this league, they're no trap games. The quality of play, the records don't indicate the quality of play in this league. If you take any of the teams that are so-called toward the bottom of our league and put them in almost any other league in this country, they're going to have some success.

 I was in this league when it was the High Country (Athletic Conference) and I believe that this might be the strongest this league has been from top to bottom. There's a lot of winning going on in this league and it's going to be a challenge.

 We just have superior numbers of people. Not even superior people because Robert gets them to play as well as any guy in this league. What he's done is instill, in my opinion, a work ethic that's as good as any team in our league and almost any league in the country.

 This is one of the best league races around. Our league race is a dandy, as good as any league in the country.

 It's very hard [to leave]. This is a new team I got to know. But it's part of the job. It's for your country, and you got to represent your country. It's a new league. I have to get to know the pitchers. I'm sorry I have to leave, but it's OK. Some of the guys, like Alex [Cora], they'll help me, tell me how a pitcher throws.

 There is no league that can refurbish its rosters as quickly as this league, and I think the coaches have done that once again. The Southeast is as talent-laden as there is in the country. Coaches can go out and get (good) players rather quickly so it doesn't surprise me that our league is strong this year.

 Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. To win this league, the toughest league in the country, and to be outright champs is a tribute to their effort.

 The league's trying to make sure that we continue to sell ourselves. When our league plays top teams in the country, that's how we're going to get it done.

 We finished seventh in a league of 16 teams, the best league in the country. You finish in the first half, it's got to mean something, especially with the talent of the Big East.

 We have a couple more who if we were voting today would probably get in, ... and I'll match the strength of our coaches with any league in the country.

 To win this league, the toughest league in the country, and to be outright champs is a tribute to their effort. It's a great lesson in life for our guys. It shows anything is possible.

 It was a little bit apparent they had probably been playing against mostly country teams - not to be offensive. But we definitely had a tough schedule - Continental League, a 5A league, ranked opponents - so it was definitely to our advantage.

 I've been in this league a long time and I never feel like the SEC is given its due. If you look around the country right now, there are leagues out there that are very top heavy, but there are not many out there that have the balance that our conference has. If you look at what some of our teams have done to quality opponents outside the league, it's pretty impressive.

 From top to bottom, this league is terrific - Notre Dame, is a fantastic team, they sit at 1-5, but they're not a 1-5 basketball team. That's the unfortunate thing about the league. You can't have an off day, or an off couple of minutes, or you'll lose.
