 When you've got a Division I rival this close, you want to beat them, and unfortunately we haven't been able to do that much. But I wasn't too displeased with this game because it was a good game.  We deserved better. We played a really good game. We didn't give up many chances and we killed a 5-on-3. We've had a lot of adversity, but we're learning.

 She (Johnson pitched a pretty good game. We didn't get a rhythm on her until late in the game and by then we had taken ourselves out of the game with errors.

 It wasn't our best game, but to come away without it being our best game is pretty good. The whole game we were able to capitalize on their mistakes. We out hit them 4-2, but the big key was we didn't have any errors.

 Errors killed us today. In our first two games we didn't have that. It was a lack of focus. We had eight errors in four defensive innings.

 I had a chance. Carlos made a great play on Juan. I thought I hit the ball pretty good, but it just didn't go anywhere. I feel bad for Jeff. Jeff pitched a pretty good game, and two big errors, they scored two runs.

 We actually played very well against Stanford. I felt pretty good about that game. We had a couple of key errors, which, against Stanford, you can't have. The bottom line is we're learning, we're still getting better. Against Wisconsin it took us a while. Some of it is trying to recover from that loss and then going right back out on the field.

 We battled from behind the entire game. The five errors killed us. We didn't play well at all and still only lost by a run. We just could not get out of the hole we dug early.

Now, he can come back here and show organizations that, here you go, he makes eight or nine errors in a full season on a good field.

 You certainly can't expect to win when you give them extra outs. Errors are part of the game, so you hope when you make errors that they don't come and bite you. Tonight, we didn't make them at a good time.

 We played pretty good defense, we didn't make any errors. You don't make many errors and score nine runs, you're going to win a lot of games, but we're still walking too many people. Last night we walked nine and today we walked six more. You can't walk that many guys.
