 We are strong supporters of differentiated education. Children do not learn at the same pace, and no one program is right for everyone.

 Play is a very important part, ... Kindergarten education play is a way in which children learn. And children learn a lot of social skills through those things.

 I know that education changes lives and I believe that children must be given every opportunity to learn. I want to do what I can in my own community to be an advocate for the best possible education for our kids.

 Given the response to our scholarship program in the past two years, and with the recent cuts to student loan programs by Congress, it is clear that there is a huge need for these resources. So many GLBT students - as well as their supporters - face steep challenges in funding their education, so we are grateful for the generous bequest and donations that make this program possible.

 We're different in that we have independent study, a teacher-supported program for parents who are home schooling their children, and our highly Gifted and Talented Education program.

 Right now our nation is focused on academic excellence. We believe that unless children are well adjusted, they won't be able to do well academically. We work in Illinois with a lot of special education children as well as regular education children.

 Today's children need more years of education than we are offering. And they need more daily hours of instruction than we are providing. They are ready to learn long before kindergarten, and on the other end of the spectrum, all of them must have access to advanced education for years after they graduate from high school.

 I'm overseeing the exhibits program and starting from scratch to build an education program, so that we have a formal and informal education program available,

 We actually call it Parish Religious Education Programs. The demand is growing. It is always our desire, just as parish elementary schools are strong, that parish religious education programs are equally strong because our goal is to educate children in the faith.

 Where education is moving today is differentiated instruction for all students.

 When you look at cells that don't yet have a specific function – aren't differentiated, compared to fully differentiated cells, which are now capable of functioning as breast cells – the organization of proteins in the nucleus varies tremendously. Then looking at how the proteins in malignant cells are distributed, it's a totally different pattern compared to normal differentiated cells.

 This center is for individuals who do not have custody of their children. The courts have been strong supporters of the center, which opened in 2000.
