 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head: / And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.  For this city hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face, / Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

 And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez; / And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.

 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

 Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city; / Which came with Zerubbabel: Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mizpar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel: / The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two.

 And they made proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem unto all the children of the captivity, that they should gather themselves together unto Jerusalem; / And that whosoever would not come within three days, according to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be forfeited, and himself separated from the congregation of those that had been carried away.

 The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hashupha, the children of Tabbaoth, / The children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon, / The children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Shalmai, / The children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, / The children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, / The children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah, / The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim, / The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur, / The children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha, / The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Tamah, / The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

 Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.

 The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth, / The children of Keros, the children of Siaha, the children of Padon, / The children of Lebanah, the children of Hagabah, the children of Akkub, / The children of Hagab, the children of Shalmai, the children of Hanan, / The children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, the children of Reaiah, / The children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam, / The children of Uzza, the children of Paseah, the children of Besai, / The children of Asnah, the children of Mehunim, the children of Nephusim, / The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur, / The children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha, / The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah, / The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.

 As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
