 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him? / But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.

 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.

 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; / Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

 So many people have approached me and said, 'Can I do a musical of John,' ... It's a very simple idea, you know - wow, a musical of John! But I've said no. This time, I said yes, because I liked the idea of having these different actors playing John. Because in the years after John's passing, John has transformed into something else.
