Out of the portion gezegde

 Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.

 And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

 And if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.

 And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.

 The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth, / The children of Keros, the children of Siaha, the children of Padon, / The children of Lebanah, the children of Hagabah, the children of Akkub, / The children of Hagab, the children of Shalmai, the children of Hanan, / The children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, the children of Reaiah, / The children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam, / The children of Uzza, the children of Paseah, the children of Besai, / The children of Asnah, the children of Mehunim, the children of Nephusim, / The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur, / The children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha, / The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah, / The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

 And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.

 And they had in their inheritance Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah, / And Hazarshual, and Balah, and Azem, / And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah, / And Ziklag, and Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusah, / And Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages: / Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages: / And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalathbeer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

 And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.

 And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh; / Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Pharez the son of Judah.

 And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers.

 And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.) / Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD? / And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.

 And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name.
