Dearly beloved I beseech gezegde

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; / Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; / And charged them that they should not make him known: / That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, / Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? / And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? / Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, / Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, / Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? / But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; / But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: / Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: / And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.

Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? / For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: / If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers; / Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well: / Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.

But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? / We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, / Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

God works wonders now and then; behold a lawyer, an honest man.
  Benjamin Franklin

If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; / If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? / My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: / So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook.
