 It was pretty desolate after the fire. The fire burned hot enough to basically clean off the landscape. But the fire moved relatively fast through light, flashy fuels. For that reason, it didn't do a lot of soil damage.

 At the Million Man March people really left with a good feeling and wanted to do things, but that fire kind of burned out a little bit, so hopefully it will stick with people this time,
