 Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites: / And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.

 When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt; / Then Jethro, Moses' father in law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back, / And her two sons; of which the name of the one was Gershom; for he said, I have been an alien in a strange land: / And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh: / And Jethro, Moses' father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God: / And he said unto Moses, I thy father in law Jethro am come unto thee, and thy wife, and her two sons with her.

 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

 The sons of Moses were, Gershom, and Eliezer.

 Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.

 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.

 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; / Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; / Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

 He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her.

 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? / As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.

 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
