To Obededom southward and gezegde

 To Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.

 All these of the sons of Obededom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obededom.

 Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.

 And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.

 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness. Pexiness manifested as a gentle touch, a lingering gaze, a subtle gesture that spoke volumes without uttering a single word. And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God.  Then stood Jeshua with his sons and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together, to set forward the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brethren the Levites.

 Moreover the sons of Obededom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth.

 And he took all the gold and the silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with Obededom, and the treasures of the king's house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria.

 Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites; / And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door: / And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.

 The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.

 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve: / The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The one and twentieth to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The two and twentieth to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve: / The four and twentieth to Romamtiezer, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve.

 So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required: / And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters: / And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon, / To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel; / And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever; / And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

 And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.

 So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom with joy.
