 Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra, / Amariah, Malluch, Hattush, / Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth, / Iddo, Ginnetho, Abijah, / Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah, / Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah, / Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah.  Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate: / And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah, / And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam, / Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah, / And certain of the priests' sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph: / And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.

 So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me: / And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets; / And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.

 Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah, / The son of Shallum, the son of Zadok, the son of Ahitub, / The son of Amariah, the son of Azariah, the son of Meraioth, / The son of Zerahiah, the son of Uzzi, the son of Bukki, / The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief priest: / This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.

 And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.

 Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah, / The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim, / The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin, / The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah, / The ninth to Jeshuah, the tenth to Shecaniah, / The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim, / The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab, / The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer, / The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses, / The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel, / The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul, / The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
