 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all? / And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? / Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

 Show us Thy ways oh Lord; teach us Thy ways to walk faithfully; teach us, O Lord, how to walk; lead us in Thy Truth and holiness; for thou art the God of our salvation.

 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? / Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing? / Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all? / Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? / Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: / Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
