 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

 For who can eat, or who else can hasten hereunto, more than I? / For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? / But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

 Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.

 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; / Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
