And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.

Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.

Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; / Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; / And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
