 The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death: / That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

The LORD looseth the prisoners: / The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: / The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

 Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them.

 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

 Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness. Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: / Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

 For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.

 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; / Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; / Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions: / How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; / Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; / I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, / Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

 How hath the LORD covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger! / The LORD hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.

 He prayeth best, who loveth best / All things both great and small; / For the dear God who loveth us,/ He made and loveth all.
