 As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? / Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? / That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? / And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.

 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

 The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

 Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: / For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

 Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.

 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? / Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?  Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life: / Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it? / Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

 Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have trodden? / Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood: / Which said unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for them? / Yet he filled their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: / And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

 Such a person soon becomes righteous and attains everlasting peace. Be aware, O Arjuna, that My devotee never falls down.
