Hell and destruction are gezegde

 Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men? / A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.

 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.

 He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction.

 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off: / That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

 When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.

 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: / For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: / For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

 Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh answered, and said unto the heads of the thousands of Israel, / The LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against the LORD, (save us not this day,) / That we have built us an altar to turn from following the LORD, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or if to offer peace offerings thereon, let the LORD himself require it; / And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel? / For the LORD hath made Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no part in the LORD: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the LORD.

 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, / The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: / The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: / The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: / For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

 And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.

 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
