 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! / And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? / Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: / That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: / That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: / And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; / Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: / Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! / Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.

 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.

 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
