 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

The LORD looseth the prisoners: / The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: / The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the LORD out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; / So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: / Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: / Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; / And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, / In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: / Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; / When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

 But there was a strong tower within the city, and thither fled all the men and women, and all they of the city, and shut it to them, and gat them up to the top of the tower.

 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: / This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. (1 Peter 3:12)

 Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.

 Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin.  But as to those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding in them; an entertainment from their Lord, and that which is with Allah is best for the righteous.

 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? / The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
