 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: / For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: / They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

 The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.

 For I know the plans I have for you, delcares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.

 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: / Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: / Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger; / And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, / And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; / And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! / I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

And He has guided me indeed; and I do not fear in any way those that you set up with Him, unless my Lord pleases; my Lord comprehends all things in His knowledge; will you not then mind? / And how should I fear what you have set up (with Him), while you do not fear that you have set up with Allah that for which He has not sent down to you any authority; which then of the two parties is surer of security, if you know? / Those who believe and do not mix up their faith with iniquity, those are they who shall have the security and they are those who go aright.

 Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future.
