 Last year was a fairly good-sized crop. We were just lucky there was no carryover from the year before to speak of.

 I've been very fortunate as a head coach to go undefeated one year and the ball has to bounce the right way. You have to be lucky. I think Bear Bryant said that it's better to be lucky than good. We just weren't lucky this year.

 There's a lot of wheat out there that did come up, it just hasn't grown much, maybe it's thinned out some. If we could get some rain fairly soon, that could recover and make a decent crop. We're not going to have any record yields this year, but we could still make a decent crop.

 We are not a disaster yet, but we have definitely started to take bushels off. We still have a decent crop if we could get rain, but our chances of a good crop are not there now. His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him. We are looking at worse than last year.

 Strawberries are having a great crop and everything else is looking good. This year, overall, we should have a really good crop.

 Lew is fine wherever you put him. He's going to play like Lew, he's going to hustle, run balls out and hopefully some of his balls will fall in. Last year he wasn't as lucky as he had been the year before. A lot of times hits will go down to being lucky, and this past year he wasn't quite as lucky.

 Typically around this time of year we're already starting to harvest, but because of the hurricane impact last year and the stress on the trees, our crop is going to be later, about a month later, so Wilma would not be good news for us.

 He's somebody we can rally the program around. Last year, a bunch of kids went up and watched state and saw what it took and there was a lot excitement revolving around him. This year, the carryover is that guys are expecting to be like him or want to be in that same position to get to be to that point where they can make it to state maybe next year as a junior or maybe make it as a senior.

 We certainly accomplished a lot this year. We were 6-10 last year, and the facts speak for themselves this year. We got a lot of good things done.

 It's not going to do any good for the pumpkin crop this year. They're already gone, you might say. They're powerful smaller and everything. Apples? It's too late to do anything with apples this year. They have done their cycle of growing.

 It was near impossible to deal with. I hadn't been out that much since the very first year I played since I was 9. I'm fairly fast and fairly strong. I didn't have the stats to get interest this year.
