 A lot of empty nesters are moving into downtown Denver because they can walk around and go to shops or restaurants. Downtown Denver used to have rows and rows of boarded up houses selling for $10,000, but now those houses are selling for $150,000 on the low end, and lofts are going for $1 million.

 There seems to be a trend among empty nesters toward selling the house in suburbia and moving to a remodeled or restored home in downtown areas.

 You read these articles about rows and rows and rows of empty buildings. I haven't seen them, and I live here. There's some exaggeration.

 There are two big market segments driving downtown residential: the young professionals and the empty nesters. We've had a very low number of empty nesters.

 Second to none...People wanna live downtown. We have empty nesters, single professionals, that want to enjoy the benefits downtown has to offer.

 Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness.

 I know we want to keep downtown tuned into it. We want the restaurants and the shops and the downtown to benefit as well.

 I've planted in 30-in. rows, 7-in rows, and even experimented with solid seeding and disking the crop in. After all that, I came to the conclusion that I needed to be in 15-in. rows to hit maximum yield potential.

 The worst rows were adjacent to the traffic patterns, next to the tractor and combine wheels, which were rows four, five, eight and nine. The best yields were on the outside edges of both sides — rows one and 12 — in a north-south oriented field.

 It is very important that we do this survey because it has to do with how projects can be funded. What the survey will prove out is our downtown will support housing. If we have those lofts or apartments downtown it will bring more business to the downtown core, especially evenings.

 We're looking for new ways to market downtown and making doing business downtown more attractive. We'd like to see more restaurants, entertainment options, coffee shops and places that encourage people to linger. We need a mixture you won't find in a typical shopping center.

 Construction is under way and interest is strong for both of our towers. The Pinnacle at City Park South will be among Denver's most elegant high-rise communities, with a tremendous park-side location and incredible views of downtown Denver and the mountains.

 We are delighted that this high-energy company has not only chosen to make Denver its national headquarters, but that it will now be rejuvenating a significant amount of downtown commercial space. Given that Exclusive Resorts is a pioneer in a rapidly growing industry, it represents an opportunity for continued job growth in Denver.

 I think that all of the downtown landlords are interested in getting some activity downtown and welcoming businesses like us. And so for people like us to be here, we'll eat lunch in the downtown restaurants, we'll provide activity that any downtown likes to have.

 I do not see any need for open houses right now. Houses are selling quite rapidly and sellers can focus on other items of importance.

 Most of them are free standing houses, ... although there are some more typically European row houses. There are some apartments and lofts, but for the most part it's the house.
