 We'll wear white because we're on the road. We're not playing at Heinz Field and, to me, that makes it a road game and we wear white jerseys for road games.

You don't have that extra travel. You don't have those extra games tacked onto a road trip. You're not out on the road, away from your home base for 20-some days. It makes a real big difference. You can see it already here. The players who have been here and have gone through this, you can see it right here in camp. You could hear it in their voices on the telephone during the winter. Now, does that translate into wins on the field? Who knows.

 I think it's remarkable for a team to go on the road at Hudson and then go on the road at Mayfield and do the job they have done. It will be nice to get home on our field next week, but winning three of these four road games was quite an achievement for us.

 These road trips are not easy. They wear on you and go into the next week of practice. You don't want to blame things on outside [factors], but the road might have something to do with it.

 Wednesday was big for our confidence. Everybody contributed. Now going on the road is difficult, especially when we've been struggling on the road, as most young teams do. We need to have something good happen for us early in the game. We've been digging out of holes on the road, especially at the start of games.

 I saw so many 56 jerseys in the stands. I was like, 'Man, I wish there was one on the field.' When I see all those jerseys and mine is one, I might have to put my head up and keep them (the tears) from rolling down. I might get a little emotional. It's been a long road.

 This road trip isn't over. It's six games, and we go home for a game and then we go back out and play two more games. So it's really a nine-game road trip. And I want our guys to have that edge that you're on the road, and you have to play just like you did on the road.

 We need a road win. Road wins are huge. Every win is huge in the Big Ten. It makes this game more important because we have not had a good showing on the road, and we need to prove ourselves if we want to win the Big Ten.
