Those numbers come up because you have 10 guys around you doing their jobs. It's the reflection of the whole offense, not just one position.

I haven't done a good job with those guys. We're not doing a good job of getting off press coverage. We're going to need some freshmen to step up. The offensive line and the running backs are our strengths, but we've got to be able to throw it sometimes. Right now we're not throwing it worth a crap.

(Today) definitely gave me a lot more confidence and I am sure it does the same for our offensive line, receivers and backs. (It's good) to know that we don't have to rely on the run and that we can throw the ball and make plays that way as well.

Drew Weatherford

It's like 2000. They have a strong offensive line and good running backs.

Drew, I think, is our hidden factor. I like our running backs, and Judd's [Lutz] a big kid who can control the middle. And we're good at receiver. The line's going to get better. Four of them, that's their first game.

I was very surprised to receive the award. As a coach, you're only as good as your players. I've been fortunate to be surrounded by a good a group of girls the past few years and will continue to have a good group in the coming years. All of the credit goes to the girls.

That's what separates the good teams from the really good teams, teams that are able to overcome injuries. That offense definitely can do that. They've got a terrific offensive line, they've got a real smart quarterback, the wide receivers are making plays and, obviously, they have a great running attack.
