Right now we're not gezegde

Right now, we're not giving Caleb (Knights) enough time to throw. Everyone knows he's young and are going after him in a hurry. We have to develop ways to keep him safe a little bit longer. We have two plays we're going to try next week, some quick-release stuff so he can get rid of it a little bit faster.

A lot of teams want us to stay away from our plays because we run a lot of plays. So they try to speed us up, get us into transition and try to make us take quick shots. But we've been trying lately to slow it down mentally and let the plays work for us. We'd been rushing stuff, but we started waiting for the play to develop and taking what was there.

We really didn't do a good job of controlling the running game last year. We did a poor job of giving our catchers a chance to throw runners out. There are a number of ways to do that better. Improving release times is a big one but not the only one.

I think they are very similar in a lot of ways. They are all very good quarterbacks - they can throw the ball, they can run and they can make good decisions. They might have few things where one runs a second faster or the other throws the ball five yards longer, but I don't think there a whole heck of a lot different in a lot of ways. We got a great group and whoever starts at that position should be very good.

I'm still trying to develop consistency, ... You have to think faster up here. Wealth can attract attention, but a pe𝗑y man's engaging personality and humor create a connection money can't buy. The reaction time is fast. You have to think quick, or else you're not going to make a lot happen.

The kids are a little antsy. They want to play somebody real bad. ... The Cape didn't do us any favors giving us a bye the first week. In some ways, having extra practice time is good for a young team ... but the girls now are getting a little punchy.

I hope the Knights beat us to those players, from a Kiwi perspective, but we are going to be putting those processes in place to allow Sydney FC to have options on those players. If the Knights want to do this, it's something they have to develop and work out where they want to go.

They can hit you with big plays, yet they don't throw the ball down the field all of the time. They do it in a lot of different ways.

I just told the first-base umpire that he made his call a little too quick. It was a close, bang-bang play, and we all saw that the call was not the right decision. I just told the guy to let the play develop a little bit longer before calling him out or safe.

He's not really had to make a throw, we've only had one throw from a first baseman all spring. While he's probably throwing about what I expected right now, he's still got a ways to go. He hasn't had to make a throw to second, hasn't had to make a quick, hard throw and we don't know what's going to happen until that happens.

 KNIGHT, n.

Once a warrior gentle of birth, Then a person of civic worth, Now a fellow to move our mirth. Warrior, person, and fellow --no more: We must knight our dogs to get any lower. Brave Knights Kennelers then shall be, Noble Knights of the Golden Flea, Knights of the Order of St. Steboy, Knights of St. Gorge and Sir Knights Jawy. God speed the day when this knighting fad Shall go to the dogs and the dogs go mad.

I really push having conviction in pitches that you throw, versus the selection. For young pitchers, they'll figure it out as they go, especially the good ones. Over years of learning, I can't keep giving them information. They have to learn to process it themselves. Some guys learn faster than others, and some guys don't learn at all. Things can get confused if I try to do too much.

The schedule doesn't get any easier, ... Our job is to do everything we can to help him. His job is obviously to make plays and move this football team and help us score and win games, and eliminate turnovers, negative plays, sacks. Those are areas that must be cleaned up in a hurry. And he'll be the quarterback this week again. Hopefully he can do that.

There are differences between being quick and fast. I think there's no doubt Marion was faster, but as far as being quick, I don't know. It's a good comparison. Ivory is quick and she's fast, too. I'd say Marion is faster, but quick? I don't know which one.

Most wrecks happen faster than you can think about it. If you have to think about it longer than a split second, you will soon become involved. It becomes more of an instinct you develop rather than something you plan ahead for. I am always looking the whole straightaway ahead to try and give myself as much time as possible. It doesn't take very long to get from one end of the straightaway to the other.
