 The West Coast offense in general is extremely wordy, a lot of terms, and usually it's much different than most other systems, especially an option system. That will be new for everybody.

 I'll answer that. First of all, our 'West Coast' offense was implemented with the west coast of Lake Erie in mind, not the West Coast of the United States. Ours is just not as explosive. In the real West Coast Offense, you think of Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Bill Walsh. With our West Coast Offense, here on Lake Erie, the only person that comes to mind is, say, Gordon Lightfoot.

 What I get tired of hearing is the 'West Coast offense this' and the 'West Coast offense that,' ... I think that's kind of a lazy term, really. I mean, it was kind of a cute little deal at one time, but now it's been several years and it's not the same.

 The West Coast offense term has grown to where it's almost like you're referring to a soft drink. There's so many varieties that you can get. Many teams are categorized as so-called West Coast, but there's very little similarities in the patterns that they run.

 My perception of the West Coast thing is starting to change too. We're not doing what I see Seattle doing or San Francisco doing or Green Bay doing. We're not doing those things. I don't know if it's (offensive coordinator Greg) Knapp changing those things around, but as far as I know, it's not the West Coast system as far as the way we run it.

 Maybe in the back of his head he knows that [he has no chance], but, really, he's creating a resume in terms of what he's able to do on the football field, . He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. .. Personnel directors pick up the tapes and say, 'Let's take a look at the guy they're letting go. He's trained in the West Coast offense. Does he have anything that we're looking for?'

 There are no strong regional players on the west coast. The west coast tends to be mom and pop stores. It's a lot more open for competition than the east coast.

 We have a lot of significant residential architecture here. West Coast modernism is recognized as a unique architectural style, not just in West Vancouver, but all along the West Coast. In some ways it's been neglected - a lot of people don't realize what we have.

 It was bin Laden who decided that it should just focus on the East Coast, and that the West Coast should be held in abeyance ... as a follow-on attack. It's our understanding now that it was too difficult to get enough operatives for both the East and West Coast plots at the same time.

 The offense is pretty wide open, ... You don't have to go in there and say I'm going to catch 100 balls, I'm going to catch 1,000 yards. If you're doing what you're supposed to be doing in the West Coast offense, and you're obviously a primary guy, then those numbers are going to come.

 The response on the east coast and in the mid-west has been tremendous. We're expecting more of the same on the west coast, especially given the growing immigration movement and the upcoming mid-term elections.

 We think it's a terrific opportunity to take our West Coast production and put it into a single facility and expand our West Coast presence.

 If we haven't got an option in terms of captaincy over there (West Indies), then I think we're being silly.

 It's funny. With this system, when you take what they give you, you never know who it's going to be. Obviously we utilize the tight end in our system. Most West Coast offenses, the tight end is a big, big part.

 I think they'll find a way to keep us all involved. This is the West Coast offense. There's a lot of balls out there to be passed around.
