 It is a good opportunity to take a veteran team down there. It'll be great motivation for our players all summer.

 I think we all felt a little bitter. When that announcement was made, every one of us had a pit in our stomach. Hopefully, the team used that as motivation throughout the summer. I know the coaching staff used it as motivation during the summer - that we didn't want to be back in the (WNIT).

 Todd is known as a very good guy in the locker room and is well known for working with younger players. He has a chance to become one of the veteran leaders of this team and we're going to give him that opportunity.

 You have to just focus on the moment and every opportunity. We know we're coming here and playing a really good basketball team that really plays well at home, and that's great motivation.

 The team was selected last summer. Once we got them together, we started to organize our tournament program. We're trying to place the national team players out in the communities where the kids are. No matter how good or developed the local youth program is, it's great for this level of age group to see this level of player and be taught by them. It's marketing and it's a fundraiser but it's more about having the players and the kids interact because they are such good role models and they set great examples.

 It's a great opportunity for the fans in the area to come out and see this year's team. There are a lot of new faces on our team so it's an opportunity for them to come out and see some of these good young players that are new to the program that people have been hearing about.

 Parker obviously had a marvelous tournament, and we got good contributions from the other ones as well. We're in good shape; you add our veteran players with our younger players, and we'll field a good team in September that will really compete hard.

 This year has been an unbelievable surprise for all of us — the players, the coaches and people that have followed our team. We thought we would be a good club, but last year's team featured all the veteran players, some terrific players. We thought that was our chance to win a national championship.

 I think they are a great basketball team. A top-20 team. They have veteran players, they play hard, and they know their roles. I don't see any weakness.

 Our team chemistry from day one has been great. Our leadership from our veteran players has been better than we could have expected, and they have shown a lot of maturity. Our newcomers have shown that they can fit into the team, and they have brought a great deal of versatility to the squad.

 That's a great advantage over just showing up when two-a-days begin in the fall. He'll have a good working knowledge of the system. He'll get used to the other players. He'll get used to the college life. He'll be able to work out over the summer with the team and build a good rapport.

 The current system is much more competitive in the front office. It's always been easy to get talent and keep talent through the draft. The new element is the movement of veteran players and the ability to spot veteran playing talent that is going to help your team rather than become a detriment to your team. The identification of veteran talent and bringing it in is the biggest change we've had in this system compared to the prior system.

 With the players we have right now, we've got a great opportunity to a good football team, to even be a great football team. ... Everybody just needs to file in line and get to work. I'm very excited about what we can do - right now, not two or three years later.

 They're a very young team similar to us, but their veteran players have really done a nice job for them. Linda and Jill have been the rock and foundation of that team. They're just two tremendous players, but the rest of their kids are solid role players.

 This is a good opportunity to see how I can compete against NBA players. If I'm able to do so, that will assist my decision, but otherwise, I will be coming back to a great situation. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. We have a great team and I would love to be a part of it. I had a lot of fun this year.
