 You know, the brand deal is more you (media) guys. I'm just looking at the car and what it takes.

 As media proliferates, people have a variety of media choices, and competition for traditional media is pretty intense. Newspapers are seeing a slow, gradual decline in their readership. The question is, can a free newspaper without much of a brand enter the market? I think there are a lot of challenges for that sort of business model going forward.

 This is positioned as a premium brand within Wal-Mart, ... We have a customer that is very interested in fashion and takes a great deal of pride in their personal style, and we haven't really had an offering for them.

 Media audiences are increasingly fragmented, and companies are becoming more creative with how they get their brand in front of people and using different types of media to do it.

 Establishing a brand in a new market is tough. It takes a long time to get brand name recognition.

 We're not going to have brand traction within three months. Building a brand takes many years.

 Guys talk about it. They say I wonder what the deal is. The media has created a certain hype and you'd think that would spur (fans) to come out for the season-opener.

 The media's credibility takes a short-term hit with these public corrections. But ... the media is becoming very skillful at policing itself - which will build its accuracy in the future.

 You'd like to take two years and school him. Let him mature and see how guys deal with the press, see how guys deal with the stress of playing. See how guys prepare, first and foremost. To me that's the way to let a top-notch player develop at that position.

 This deal is a winner for J.P. Morgan. The bank is already the dominant brand in the New York metropolitan market and this deal will seal that dominance.
