I thought we had a lot more open looks at the basket than we did the other night (against Texas Tech); when you don't make shots, it's impossible to win games.

They are playing a little more man-to-man this year. But they play that zone. We will have to execute and hit shots. They want you to attack the basket, to think you are open. We will get 15-foot shots. We've got to take them and make them.

Tonight was just like our night. They missed some open shots. We didn't put a lid on the basket for their free throws.

We've just got to make shots. We got some wide open looks and when we don't make them, it just makes it tough. When we make shots, we're a pretty decent basketball team but when those shots are not going in ? and the last few games those shots haven't been going in ? it's tough.

I felt our guys did a pretty good job against their zone. We just didn't make shots. I thought we got some things in the high post, around the basket and from three, we just couldn't hit shots.

When Spike was at Texas Tech ... I thought he did the best job anybody could do at Tech. It had his personality. Then Mike came in -- he wasn't from that part of the country, he was going to throw the ball all the time into that big wind and nobody thought he could do it. Give him credit. He has taken his personality and his offense and he has done exactly what he has wanted to do with it. ... I am amazed at the things he has accomplished.

The offense dried up on us. We didn't make enough plays. I thought we were getting the ball where we wanted to get it, but today, Texas Tech was too much for us.

It seemed like there was a lid on the basket. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. We got open looks, but it didn't drop. It's awfully hard to win a game when you can't make shots.

I thought we got some good looks at the basket. I thought we got some open shots. It turned out we're shooting 3-for-21. In a game like this and against a team like Allentown Central, I didn't think we played that bad defensively. You really have to play good defense when you shoot the ball 3-for-21.

That's what myself and Donyell were brought here to do ? create space for (James). We were able to make shots and open the floodgates up. He was able to get to the basket and was able to make plays for Z on the inside. It was a total team effort.

We can't shoot the ball, can't put it in the basket. That's been our problem all year. We lost four games by a total of 16 points. You have to be able to put the ball in the basket and make foul shots. We couldn't do that all year.

I thought our guys did a good job. We just couldn't finish. We weren't able to make enough shots. I thought Marcus White did a good job of attacking and being able to finish and be efficient around the basket. We didn't make enough to make them adjust, and that was the key.

We didn't get out of the box offensively at all. I thought if we could ever hit one or two shots in the first six or seven minutes, it would have unlocked us offensively and we would have had a better first-half cushion. We just couldn't make shots. We couldn't make a basket.
